Maintaining the Fixed Tow Bar

Hi all

Following the recall procedure i now have a fixed tow bar.

For the last few months i have been covering it in WD40 after every wash to try and hold off the rust.

Has anyone got any tried and tested methods of keeping it looking good? Really don't want it to start rusting up
