Doesn't sound like a good one. Did the bother to fill the thing with oil properly?

I would reject yes.

2) temp gauge reading too high
3) filament out in heated windscreen
4) tow eye cover loose at the front
5) tow hitch cover at the rear fell out
6) water dripping out of rear interior light
7) intermittent failure of rear parking camera

views ?

Yup, you definitely got off light.
My car was probably made similar time and have a look at my recent post for its problems.

Found two more faults to add to the list on mine. Filled up washer fluid today but did not shut the bonnet correctly. I joined the Motorway and started making progress and the front left of the bonnet started flexing up. Looked at the dash and no warnings. I Pulled over and it was holding on the centre latch only. Go home and had a play and found the bonnet open warning does not work even with it wide open Rolling Eyes

Also started getting random pops through speakers this week even when the stereo is turned off.

so current list is:

Tailgate not aligned/shutting properly.
Intermittent loss of drive.
Temp Display 3 degrees out
Bonnet sensor not working
Popping noise from front speakers
Random DEF fault
Drivers armrest not straight and rubbing on centre cubby box
Bump in leather dash top
Front tow cover not staying in place (currently glued on)
Rattling sunroof blind assembly
Faded rear number plate (Ill let Landrover off on that one)

Booked in for next month to start working through them, I'm used to it now as this is technically my 5th D3/4 but makes you think when you list them out Big Cry
