Marker Pen for writing on Tyres?
I'm about to take the AT2's off and put the Pirellis back on for the summer (mainly to use them up TBH), I would like to write on the inside tyre wall of each tyre what corner of the car the AT2's came off so they go back on the same corner in the Autumn. I didn't do this to the pirelli's when i took them off and will have to guess as to where to put them (unless anyone has any bright ideas as to how to know).
Can anyone tell me what type of pen is suitable for this (obviously not one with Black ink ) and where i can get one from.
Thanks in advance for any responses I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

are you taking them off the rims , I have marked the inside of the spokes on my Road Set where they go. Like you it means they go straight on, no mixing corners and still perfectly balanced.

Other than that, Halfords do a windscreen marker, the white pen

Time to raid my 6yr olds art box then I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

They are staying on the rims, i've got the AT2's on black 06 SE rims, the pirellis are on silver 06 SE rims, and i have a full 'spare' set of as new condition pro refurbed 06 SE rims in silver in the garage as well, so I am not short of rims I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

I tag mine instead.
I cut some small pieces of flimsy plastic [from an A4 file].
Write up with permanent marker then loop with string through the spokes.
That way I can wash the wheels, stack them on side and know it won't come off
[as it did when I used to chalk them].
And they can be used over and over again.
Also, you can tag each wheel before you take it off.
Saves you trying to write/tag them all at once when all are off, and poss make a mistake.
