After market privacy glass/tinting in Notts
I am thinking of having privacy glass in my D4. I realise it would cost an arm and leg to replace the glass but wondered if anyone could recommend a good tinting company in the Nottingham area.2017 Discovery Sport HSE, Firenze Red

As there was no response to my original post I have done some research and have found a company called Ultimate Tinting in the Nottingham area. Has anyone used this company and what are your thoughts? The quote is (IMHO) very reasonable at £200 for all 5 rear windows on my D4.2017 Discovery Sport HSE, Firenze Red

suggest you check what film they use as some of them turn into blueish color after few months or yrs and look very ugly

They use Sun-Tek Carbon film and it comes with a lifetime guarantee (for as long as I own the car).2017 Discovery Sport HSE, Firenze Red

Thanks Landyash. I will give them a ring. Have you had any problems with the film getting scratched by windows going up and down or getting caught at all?2017 Discovery Sport HSE, Firenze Red

I've now had the windows tinted by Richard of Ultimate Tinting at Keyworth in Notts. His set-up is very impressive and clean. I had 5% tints to the rear 5 windows and it looks very good. Various tints are available and Richard showed me the full range before I decided on the 'limo' tint. Very pleased with it. I would recommend Ultimate Tinting to anyone wanting to get their windows tinted.

They charged me £200 which I think was pretty good as the dealer had quoted over £300!
If you look at the website for Ultimate Tinting they have a pic of the car on their gallery amongst others. Will try to post my own pic later.2017 Discovery Sport HSE, Firenze Red

Looks good.
I had just found their website and am just waiting to get my D3 booked in.
Quoted £300 to remove my old tints and fit new darker ones
