On the plus side their motorcycle parking is good (covered, with ground anchors), a very short meander to the terminal, and FREE! Black 05 TDV6 HSE Auto

We used the meet and greet once, never again, they were late sending the driver and then sent him to the wrong place!==================================

Having seen and read some horror stories about certain 'meet and greets' ..... driving it miles to a muddy unsecured field or parked in some suburban street I would never ever use one .... I prefer to pay the few extra quid and park on site keeping the keys with me thank you!! I can't speak for any particular 'meet and greet' .... just generally for me... 2016MY Discovery HSE - Black

I fly on business at least once a week from Manchester (various terminals) and have used meet & greet since it was introduced and never had a problem. I have parked my D4 and previously a BMW 645Ci and an Audi S5 with them and always spotless with about 1.6 miles extra on the clock if it's more than a few days parked.
For those of you complaining about the airport I would question your point of reference as I have to say on most levels it's pretty damn good when compared to other European airports. Particularly good with passports and baggage, security went through some growing pains (as did every airport) but ranks amongst the fastest and most efficient.
I don't work for MAPLC but hate to see locals knocking their local airport !

It wouldn't matter if I was local or otherwise.....user feedback.....just my findings & have used the place for many years on commuter flights to N. Ireland & Jersey.
Over the years their changes have maybe made things less frenetic....but are always the passenger pays.
The security staff are surly, arrogant & not conducive to those who may not be able to walk fast or not speak English (I witnessed one bellowing at a German guy because he wasn't jumping to his command...how demeaning)....ok they have an important task but why are they 35 times ruder than any other airport I have been through worldwide ?
I asked the enquiries as to how I retrieved cash paid into the trolley dispenser that didn't dispense....was told just put more £'s in & try again......imagine this to someone who hadn't a grasp on the English.
To me it's a bad advert for the UK, a blemish on the region & not necessary.
I won't relate the full story of locking my VW keys into my car at the departure drop off point & the wonderfully helpful police ....... No help whatsoever....even when I had to smash a quarter light.
They are a different breed all together....yes I did make an official complaint & im told the officers on duty were reprimanded - which didn't help me at the actual time of getting into difficulties.
Overall they Manchester Airport Staff are up their arses for most of the time...that is for me & others the time spent passing through or on the phone to them....the only saving grace for Manchester is that weather rarely closes it down.
It seems strange that most other regional airports are staffed by helpful, patient & polite people & make the time spent there pleasant & not stressful.....it costs very little & makes a huge difference.
Being hounded & shouted at for stopping to drop off a passenger isn't on & being told to park....what do they expect:
Passengers to jump out with the car moving & trot behind to get their bags out...?
Same for collecting a stood at the side of the road passenger.....?
Passengers are their customers...they forget that.
It's about time the other local hub was developed this side of the Pennines.....Doncaster
Leeds Bradford hasn't got good roads to it.BREXIT - done properly.

meet and greet....NEVER AGAIN
We used meet and greet Manchester last year as we had done before, however on returning we found a dent and a scratch on back corner, then checked mileage found it had done 114 since we dropped it off, it has a dash cam which they removed within feet of setting off, said they had washed it for me as a favour, i had hand washed it the day before dropping it off it was spotless so no need to wash it. then lied through their teeth making all sorts of s**T up. I WILL NEVER TRUST MEET AND GREET AGAIN!!!!!!!discovery 300 tdi....gone.
