Meyle Bushes
Hi All,
Could I have your thoughts on the following please.
I am preparing to rebush my rear upper arms on the D3 and would like to know whether Meyle bushes are comparable quality to Landrover?
Replaced the front and rear arb bushes last week.... what a difference! Shows how bad performance creeps up and is accepted.
Cheers

Yes Mayle are a good quality component manufacturer, I assume corrosion is not an issue for you as it tends to be up here.
For that reason we'd rarely re-bush as it makes better sense to replace the complete arm. yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

Thank you for your reply PROFSR G I will go for the Meyle bushes where I can they are more economical than LR genuine.
No we don't have the rust problems you have so it should be a worthwhile exercise and I want to have the experience. it will add to my knowledge of the D3. We get into some very remote places in Oz, deserts, cattle drive trails which go for 1800 Kms with one refuelling point so the more I know the better it is.
Thanks once again for your quick response.
Cheers
