Phew, thanks Guys. Just taking off nearly worn out Scorpion Zeros which came with the car. Car done 85k so no idea what the zeros have done, but they are showing signs of cracking.1955 SWB Series 1 86 inch

Duratracs on from when car was new 36000 plus miles on them now and still lots of "meat" left for I guess another 20K at least
I can say same about ATRs which I sold after a few year use and they were looking pretty promising for a next few
found most road biased tires last very low miles

You’re lucky we can’t post that new tyre smell. Nothing like passing the column of new tyres in the kitchen and giving them a cheeky little sniff.

Looooooooverly smell of bacon & eggs in the kitchen at the mo.
I’m not that desperate for the sniff of fresh rubber so won’t go out to the drive and sniff the wheels. That a dog has lifted his leg at one also helps reinforce that decision.

I have Scorpion zeros. I'm on 23k miles coming up to 3 years and there's about 5mm left all round.
I obviously tip-toe around very lightly in mine.....Gary

Been smelling a lot of food smells in the kitchen this past week, Del. SWMBO is on a jolly in Madeira with her pal and I am abandoned with a kitchen to use. freezer and frying pan being well patronised. Mind you I am used to this. Happens every year. 2014 MY Discovery XS Indus Silver. Sadly gone. Second last LR of forty eight years continuous ownership.

Just ditched my Scorpion Zeroes for some ATRs. Zeroes lasted for only 19.5k. Down to 2mm at the end which is less than I'm comfortable with.D1 300Tdi - gone

I got 26k out of Scorp Zeroes before swapping them out at 3.5mm.
All in all I was pretty impressed with them until they went sub 5mm.
I didn’t enjoy the tramlining and they were a bit too squeaky bum in the recent snow.
Gone for the harder compound of the ATR which should hopefully maintain a decent tread depth for much longer.

Finally got round to taking pics of my front and rear scorpion zeros at 24k miles (just under 3 years) and with 5mm left . (Sad thing to do I know but requested by Lynalldiscovery).
Not sure why they have lasted so well compared to others' experience. I do check them for correct pressure every couple of weeks and keep them to handbook pressures. I don't tow anything.
Cheers
Gary
