Mine now and loving it

Picked up the new to me D3 on Sunday. Courtesy of Moo on this forum (thank you sir). Kids very happy to have a disco back again and the battle for the keys is on as SWMBO loves driving them.

Previous one was an 05 HSE auto, this one is manual and I like it Thumbs Up . Pulls really well and is more spritely than my last one but I think the remap may have something to do with that. Performance certainly belies the mileage (232k).

This was not long after we picked it up. Given it a run across Salisbury Plain since then so a bit mucky now. Lovely.

Took it on a tour if Salisbury plain on Saturday with 4x4 adventure tours. Me and the boy had a great time. Car behaved well and we only broke it a little bit.
115 km and about 8 hours. Did get a suspension fault near the end but that seemed to sort itself out before the end.

Spoke too soon about the suspension fault sorting itself Sad . it's all over the place now.
Red warning light, been on the bump stops. Vehicle drops when left for a couple if days and last night it put itself into extended mode and would not some down.
Recon I have an air leak somewhere but need to find some time to clean the mud off and get stuck in with the soapy water. Also think one of the height sensors is FUBAR as I am getting the following error:
C1A73-1C (AF) Front right height sensor mechanism - General electrical failure

Not unsurmountable but need to find some daylight time to diagnose and fix.

Have you looked at the right front height sensor?

Good pointer. Will be doing that once I have a clean up under there. Still very muddy from the greenlaning. Going to check and clean all the sensors and wiring when I get some time in the daylight.

? I had a lot of work done on itlast year but not sure if the tank was replaced. The paperwork might be in the file I gave you. It could still be in warranty. Thumbs Up

Thanks Moo. I'll look through the service records. I am not overly concerned, it will be a process of elimination I am sure but I will get it sorted. Time is the issue as ever Smile Luckily I did invest in an IID so at least I can diagnose and calibrate if anything is replaced.

Still having a great time in it though Thumbs Up

Had a mooch through the service records Moo, compressor replaced but not the tank. New tank, sensors and wiring on the way which I am confident will sort it Thumbs Up
