MISSING! anyone else?
Just went to fit the winter wheels on, raised the car and hey! No transmission undertray!
All screws undone, no sign of force, never been off road and 1200miles (4 months after service! only 7,200 on the clock )
Just wondering has anyone had one of these 'stolen' before or would the balance of probability suggest it hasn't been replaced after service - main dealer BTW, first service!
Heading off for a chat with the service manager shortly!

My D3's went missing after a trip to a main dealer too... I wonder what they use them for?

The good news is - after visiting the dealership and speaking at length with the workshop supervisor and the service manager, who examined the car on the ramp - they are ordering a new transmission undertray and fitting FoC as a goodwill gesture! They were unable to explain why it was missing but who cares - result and credit it to them for sorting it out!

I can imagine they wouldn't admit anything. It's good of them to sort it for you though. Probably so you won't moan about them on internet forums....

They did assure me it wasn't lying around the workshop or questions would have been asked I'm happy that they're going to replace it - could have went the other way - then I'd have to really moan on 'forums' !
After reading some stories, looks like one needs to take pictures of everything that could possibly wander off during a service D4

My thought too.
There's probably just one missing in the whole of the UK... but it's slowly working it's way around.

Managed to get underneath mine at the weekend while having the wheels balanced.
Take it the under tray missing, assumed forgotten is the square piece in the middle?
Also while underneath, I noticed at the very back where the tray stops by the exhaust there is the transfer/gearbox (not sure) - there were numerous blue wires going into it. With the wires, this area looks particularly vulnerable - is there a protection plate that can be bought to protect this?

I had a few issues with a leaking crankshaft seal (brand new oil pomp and seal) while on holidays in the south of France. Had it repaired (again a new oil pump and seal - didn't want to take the risk) and on my way back home, I discovered the undertrays were missing....Called the Land Rover dealer in Nimes and they claim they don't have them...sure they were under the car when it was delivered....
Even got pictures of it (covered in oil but still... )
Anyway, managed to source a second hand LR014235 (the big one under the engine), but what is the part number for the smaller square one up front? Still need to replace that one
