It's no secret that I think the styling of the first D3 was the best. If I could have a D3 with the D4 engine, suspension and 8sp box (but with a stick) along with some of the other updates and reversing camera I'd be happy.
What's important is that you are happy with any modifications that you do and how your vehicle looks 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE

Started off as a totally standard typical D3. Family owners etc and never off roaded...

It now has...
A bar and spots.
Rs500 intercooler and silicone hoses.
RRS 19 inch wheels with Duratrac tyres.
RRS Brembo calipers.
Expo roof rack.
Prospeed rear ladder.
Terrafirma rock and tree sliders.
RLD sump guard.
Osram cool blue intense xenon bulbs.
2012 map disc.
Clock on dash, 3 flashes, sat nav unlocked.
Autobox has been flushed as well.
Next up is new tyres to go on the gloss black HSE wheels.
Snorkel, full exhaust and remap.
It has also had all 8 wishbones, 4 arb bushes, 4 drop links, rear propshaft, starter motor, alternator, 2 wheel bearings, front and rear brake lines all changed.

Thanks not bad for a car nearly three years old, car gets used on and occasionally off road but does get looked after, washed regular and dried, it also gets clay bared polished washed and sealed with auto-glym products. Russell thats pretty much the same treatment I give mine when I can get away with it. We should start a new OCD club. My next question is how did you train your son to be so helpful.(top job Russell s son )
Its the bulbs that give the blue effect but not when they light up, meant to give off light equal to daylight. They were from hids4u I will check to see if I still have receipt
