Modulars or alloys??

I want to upgrade my 17” alloys to some off roadies. Looking around and for the cost of some half decent 18 / 19” LR alloys (circa £400) I could get a set of modular steelies.

Any dissadvatage to this? Landrover discovery 3, 2005, TDV6, manual, 5 seats
