Maybe that was just for the timing belt, but it normally includes the timed fuel pump belt, and then a service as it’s usually carried out at the same time.
I had mine done last summer and it was about £1250 at LR sealer, which was all belts, service etc.
It’s the 7 year service, so get quotes for that, rather than just the timing belt to ensure your comparing apples with apples.

That £1,250 was before we lost the discount with Hunters. I looked on the service booking website, £1,420, plus that doesn't include pulleys & tensioners.

Yep, labour rate was I think £99 inc vat at that time. It’s now £135 + vat and mine was belt and braces.
I’m thinking of trying Moore Automotive next. Hunters are now too expensive I think

I think that the MOT tester has done his job properly and as VOSA do spot inspections regularly, especially if there has been a complaint, then the guy has covered himself.
If he has picked out these items as advisories, i think that you can be sure that the rest of the vehicle is in pretty good shape.

Yes good point defector.
I will be interested to get underneath and look at the corrosion to the air suspension. Is this something to be concerned about?
