Mounting a 1 Kg Fire Extinguisher

If anyone's interested, LIDL is selling 1 Kg Powder Fire Extinguishers with brackets for £6.99p this week. Having bought one, I'm looking for ideas on where to fix it using the bracket.

Phil if you speak to TLO Nick there is a mounting bracket that can be affixed with some rivnuts in the passenger footwell without getting in the way. Thumbs Up

or you can just screw the bracket to the plastic shroud on the front of the passenger seat ...like this

Mines very similarly mounted but behind the passenger seat (zip tied on)

I assume it's the bracket that is zip tied on and not the actual extinguisher! Whistle

Thanks for the ideas - having given it some thought, I could also look at finding a way to fix the bracket to the luggage compartment side of my aftermarket half dog guard. Decisions, decisions!

Correct Stu Laughing

Theres a horizontal metal bit under the seat thats ideal to zip the fire extinguisher to. Not quite as accessible as front of seat, but slightly less vulnerable?.

First aid kit lives under driver seat.

So where does everyone put their warning triangles?

Phil if you remove the plastic cover off the front of your electric seat there are plenty of mounting points for your bracket. The LR one goes there and protrudes out a bit in case you need to move the seat forward. they're also quiet expensive I believe.

My warning triangle is in the boot cubby hole, the one with the foam bit (that I never use) for the removable tow bar...

In that cubby hole, I also keep............

Thumbs Up Cheers all - leaning towards fitting to one of the front seats as more accessible there in an emergency.

Tanters, I guess you mean the LR extinguisher is expensive. The LIDL one at £6.99 is a steal!
