On a day to day basis I'm getting just below 25mpg from my d3, what sort of figures should I expect to get with an average size 4 berth caravan on tow??

Think my figures (auto) are:

Motorway/dual carriageway (on a good day) 33mpg
Normal 27mpg
Towing 4-berth caravan 23ish mpg, may get slightly more if lengthy motorway driving

pretty similar here:

28ish steady motorway crusing (occasionally higher)
24/25 knocking around town
17/18 with 1700kg twinaxle in tow at decent motorway speeds (abroad of course) Whistle

Mines an auto, manual was better with tintent on the back, stayed above 20

MPG when towing.

Regarding the fuel consumption when towing I have got close to 30 MPG with a tail wind but against the wind below 20 MPG. (Single axle van 1600KG, 2.7 diesel auto).
Does anyone know of a roof deflector for the Disco 3 for towing? It should make a massive difference to the MPG. Question

Towing with a manual a 13' two birth we get between 20 and 24 mpg depending on speed, wind etc. The slower you go the more mpg. 29 mpg with a tail wind on the M56 over 100 miles is the best we have had.

Never dropped below 20 mpg even doing 60. I find towing in 5th gives better economy than trying to hold 6th.
