ok … these get good reviews and they were as per packet, bright and white.
however, as I've had three fail in the not-quite-12-months I've had this D4, I've decided not to buy them again.
Of the 3 failures, two were catastrophic ... luckily the one this morning didn't throw fragments of glass all over the place as the previous exploder did. Is it that they don't like being in the dipped-beam projector ?

Bit like my experience with Osram bulbs, both H7s in my D3 and H4s in SWMBO's Jazz, just didn't last very long at all. Now on the "don't bother with these again" list. I know others rave about them, and tried them because of said raving, but my experiences trump anyone else's when it comes to spending my hard earned.

Hard earned. It’s tough in the salt mines. 2014 MY Discovery XS Indus Silver. Sadly gone. Second last LR of forty eight years continuous ownership.

It was hard earned, just the earning part was a long time ago in a galaxy's far, far away.
