Multiple fault messages

I recentley replaced my centre console without incident or so i thought. On re-assembly i started the car but im getting multiple error messages ranging from transmission fault to park/brake fault.

Other than the park brake not working, it still drives ok bar the fact that you need to manualy press the park release switch to allow it to engage your chosen gear.

Any help would be appreciated

Matt

I got a load of similar fault messages when I turned the vehicle on without the aircon control unit plugged in. Did you re-connect all the plugs correctly? I'm not sure what you had to disconnect for the centre console work, but worth re-checking all the connectors.

Thinking about it, they were also disconnected when I got the messages, but cleared once I'd reconnected. Sounds like one of them is not seated correctly. If you can't find which one, may be a trip to the dealer who can tell where the problem is with their diagnostic gear.
