MY15 MY16 Gearbox oil leak

Hi,

Has any anyone of the forum had gearbox oil leak issues with a MY15 MY16 D4 auto Gearbox requiring the unit being changed ?

LRs bulletin SSM72901 describes a potential casting issue on MY15 MY16 8 speed boxes which causes oil leaks and can only be fixed by replacing the gearbox.

Anyone had a box replaced in this model year for leaking issues ?

England 

Mines been in for a gearbox oil leak, allegedly they found a weeping bung, but it’s due to be returned to be checked, need to get it booked in.

Can I ask what year your D4 is and what sort of mileage has it covered ?

My 14 plate was leaking from two place a seal and the casing was supposedly repaired but was leaking again when I got it home so it went to a different dealership 5000mls later still dry
