My "Navigation - Off Road" button is a.w.o.l.

Help please. Received my new vehicle and still figuring out certain things.

Am I supposed to be in low range to get the option to navigate "Off Road", because when I press the Navigate button, it automatically goes to the map, without the option?

Is this function only with the Premium Sat-nav?

What sets the prem nav apart from the normal nav. Mine is an XS with sat nav as an option and the 6 disc CD changer. I can put destinations in when I'm driving, well the wife can when I''m driving. Will that be premium or not? Can I upgrade?

Premium adds off-road nav, 4x4 info, TMC & voice control over what Standard comes with. Entry on the move is standard on both versions (in the UK at least) since 07MY
Don't think upgrading all of it's possible but some added on TMC to Standard a few years ago

I've tried looking for the acronyms thread and can't find it. TMC? Voice control? Is that the button on the side of the steering wheel that you speak to and it just says Not recognised Sad . Or is it something completely different. I'm assuming the offroad stuff is only vis when Lo Box is selected?

Sorry for the silly questions but after reading the manual and playing with buttons I'm still no wiser

Now I am confused. I have the voice thing which should do things for me. Which is part of the prem nav. But I don't have the 4x4 info stuff. Do I have 1/2 premium or just have the voice thing as an add on

Censored . Thought I'd got prem nav then for a bit. Oh well that means it's something else that can't go wrong if it's not fitted
