apparently the HA Toyotas are on the weight limit with all the extra stuff they're carrying so they do without the spare on the back door, do the Police/HA D3's suffer the same no spare indignity?

I have to say, the HA D3's do look 'right'

I do a lot of motorway miles, and see all of the HA variants, but the D3 has a certain 'presence' about it.

Oh, and the HA D3 drivers are always smiling Wink

I guess if they wanted a petrol one, then the minimum spec is a SE.

-but why would you want a petrol one (apologies to Mossy) in the UK?

When the HA vehicles started appearing, someone on here asked them the reason they used 4x4's and what their environmental stance was, the answer that came back was along the lines of "for the numbers of 4x4's involved, it doesn't make a measurable difference" or something along those lines Wink

i was over at lancashire contabulary hq this afternoon (yes i am a cop, but someone has to do it) and stumbled across half a dozen new v8 's' d3's in zermatt silver. two had already been liveried and fully kitted out. i dont feel so bad at them cutting my overtime budjet now knowing that the cash saved is fueling the v8's.

Alright for some eh?
I wish our lot would get some new ones as we seem to be phasing out our Discos, although the Highways Agency seem to be our ritcher cousins.
I wouldnt even mind them cutting my O/T to fund it.
