New D4 configuration question...
I am playing around with the new car configurator, speccing up a D4 to see how much my choices would add up to.
I have specified HSE, with timed climate and remote. However I can't find the option to select a heated steering wheel. When I print the summary, it says no heated steering. Has it been deleted, or is it standard on HSE?

It's not standard Gareth and it has been removed from the online list. The dealer can order it for you though it's £185 ISTR21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Cheers, that seems rather odd. I have to have one and it does not appear to be an option.

Well I ordered one and it appeared with it so it hasn't been formally deleted off spec IMO 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

I have just ordered an XS, with the heated steering wheel, as a factory option, so I would have thought you would have been able to add this as an option on a HSE.

As my kids keep telling me, I'm old, but my hands will be nice and warm, and they can sit in the rear with no heated seats

Gareth ... I can fit timed climate with remote for a lot less than LR ... Money saved pays for the heated wheel and more G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

I've not ordered anything yet! I was just playing around with the configurator on LR website. Yes I am going soft Del, after last weekend I need all the extra heated things I can get. When ENTS central heating system kicked in on his D4 at 8am as we were thawing out after a night in the freezer, I could not help but be impressed.
I had thought about getting out of the brand for a while, and satisfying my mid life crisis urge to buy a sports car, but having looked at a few Astons and Porches I am not really impressed. I even briefly thought about combining the two and getting an RRsnort, but once I sobered up, normality was restored thank
DG, it would be black. Its starting to look like the centre isle at Currys around here
