My new Disco3 is coming
I’m supposed to collect my Disco3 finally on Friday next. What great news!!!
She’s already at the dealer’s garage. She arrived on Monday and has been getting ready since. I asked the dealer to let me take a look at her today. I fond the left door handle plastic cover was taken away so the lock was visible. When I asked why, the dealer told me they could not open the door electronically because the car needs to be parameterized. By the way, the boot was still locked and impossible to open. I wonder if it’s usual that the car coming directly from the factory must be in some way parameterized in order to open the doors. I’m afraid there is something strange in it.

The left hand door handle cover is made to come off in case the remote locking packs up. Maybe a flat battery or similar has caused it to muck about.

All you mention is normal for 'transit mode', the dealer will (should) also ensure that you have the latest software installed - practice your perma now!
