| First glitch - radio jammed on & no sound |

Just had first radio glitch (D3 2 just weeks old) It jammed on when trying to increase volume through recently fitted steering control. Displayed radio station but no sound and worst of all it would not switch off, even with engine off and car locked for 20 minutes. I was worried that the battery would run down over night so I removed the radio fuse (number 53 I think) in the glove box.
Refitted the fuse after 3 minutes and all seems to be working again. 
I am worried that it the problem may be related to the radio remote on steering wheel or the LR tow bar electrics that I fitted myself?
If problem re occurs the Dealer could point finger at me.  2007 S+ or LE
