It's all down to personal taste and bravery to split the headlamp. Renton has also done something similar Club Forum Criminal !!!

yes was good fun spliting the light but it was worth the hard work in the end .i was going to do the same as you but my leds would not go between the glass and the light ,the only place i could fit them was along the bottom but i am happy with them 8)

that looks great!
I was looking at Hella's universal LED light bar that the sell and was trying to figure out a way to put that in the silver deadspace just below the main projector, then you can run them like day time running lights ala audi
