Well, that one is quite old and stale... Wink Furthermore it is more and more a "cliche" as those tree-lined roads are becoming fast a thing of the past...

Highways are becoming "Autobahn" nowadays... We took a page from the Germans book on that one except that, being French, we could not resist putting toll booths on those !

(Well except in Brittany where by law in the old treaty of annexion at the end of the middle ages, it was prohibited to levy tax on roads, bridge and so on and so forth... Wink ) At least we don't have taxe when entering Paris... Whistle Wink

See ya !

No... I don't think I am quite sure that I understand who you are talking about but, trust me on that one : nobody can bash a Frenchman like another Frenchman ! Wink Lots and lots of experience... Wink

Never mind ! I simply hope that Loki will have the answer to his problem and will be able to share it with us just in case it happens to someone else !

You know the best part of this thread is that the temperature links with the temperature of some very nice German White wine.

Except that the said wine is Alsatian actually... Which, lately, means French ! Laughing Laughing Laughing

A hundred years ago, I agree, it would have been German... Wink

Never mind ! And for the wine, I can't tell... I am allergic to alcoohol ! This forum must have the only Frenchman allergic to alcoohol ! Wink Laughing

But it true that wine from the rhine valley, whether French, German or even Swiss do have something of a reputation !
