It is the beam pattern on driving lights that will be a fail, as will a fault light on the dash caused by any mod. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

My volvo toy had its MOT last week
Passed with LED side lights, and LED marker lights (orange on the sides of the head lamps)
Disco due on the 8th and has the same LEDs in there so will report back.

Update for you
Disco passed MOT today with LED markers fitted.
These are the ones I used

As has been said, if it can't be readily seen then it can't be tested.
But it can be readily seen.... both pipes exit the cover at the sides to get to the EGR's. So the other day I put mine back on with the blanking plates remaining in situ, I also cut back the pipe inserts at the other end that go in the airbox so the airflow didn't get any restriction. Dave
