New Rear Bumper or not?

Does anyone know how much a new rear bumper would be. I know that its just a plastic cover so hopefully it would be toooo much.

I hang my head in shame but ive just reversed into a very tight space and literally nudged a piece of small fencing (1mph impact). Unfortunately its put a very small nick on the top of the bumper above the offside reflector. Its smaller than a half inch but you can see it.

Im seriously unhappy because it was needless and to me its not bad enough to say, replace the bumper, but its there nontheless.

Are there companies who could sort this out, after all, its only cosmetic or will i have to live with it because a replacement bumper cover is toooo expensive?

I believe companies like chips away can do minor cosmetic plastics repairs.

Post a photo and we'll be the judge of whether its a battlescar or not Wink

Having seen some of the 'battle damage' on some cars tonight I'm sure it won't be much!

save the 400 quids until you change the D3 or else you can bet as soon as you replace the bumper something else will happen to it! a little scuff here and there's 'character' after all isn't it? Smile

It is interesting, this battlescar mentality...

This is the first car I've had since I was about 21 where I'm not that bothered about a few scratches. Confused

And I'm not alone, there were a few attendees at The Fairmile on Tuesday whose D3's were well battlescarred 8)

Good News

All this hot weather has worked wonders on the rear bumper 'mark'. Over the past week or so, it is now barely noticable as it has almost reformed itself and i shall def be keeping my £400+ in my pocket.
