Just sold my 2003 Rangie Vogue and have grand ambitions for the LR3. Took a TdV6 out for a spin the other day and was very impressed. Even after having the 4.4 RR, I wasn't at all disappointed with the power of the Td, after all this is not what this car is about, thats left to the RRS.
Anyhow, just a couple of thoughts, probably going for the HSE, with all the kit, seem to be going for around £40k with a bit of a discount, used models about £35k. Does anyone have any recent experience of how long the delivery time is for ordering a new one? Is the back log abated now.
Also has anyone a pic of the interior of a Java black with the 'tundra' interior and also Java with a black interior?
If you do can you post a pic for me.
Great to find a LR3 forum, well done to all concerned. Also anyone any thoughts on if they could buy an LR3 all over again what would they change?

You make a good choice. I have a Nov 04 HSE which is 2 years old. When I got it, Blue tooth was not available, rear air con was an option, as was the cooler box, and TV was not available.
All standard now apart from the TV, so I would order the TV option if I were to get a new one.
Ordered my new one mid nov due to come off the line 22/12 and will get it 2nd week jan. Gone for tonga green could not bring myself to have a 4th one in silver. It will be a standard SEAlive and kicking..who's round is it anyway ??

my order for a SE (spec below) looking like 15-16 weeks - ordered earlier this week and currently predicting an end of March delivery to me (some scope from improvement - but not willing to commit right now). I guess we have Xmas to consider too....?
