Newly purchased D4 Landmark
After a 4 year defection to Audi I couldn’t resist going back to a Disco. I’ve just bought a 2016 Landmark which so far I’m very impressed with and a definite step up from my previous discovery’s.
One quick question is whether I should of had a remote supplied with it for the Timed Climate?
The dealer told me it was an option which my car didn’t have or is that an excuse. The manual seems to suggest it had one originally. The build sheet which I’ve checked through TOPix says Park Heater but no mention of remote control.
Any help would be appreciated so I can put my mind at rest. TIA

No, the remote isn’t standard. I too have a 2016 Landmark and retro-fitted the remote, although I must admit that it doesn’t work as well as it did on my 2010 model (as in doesn’t get as warm).

Just wondering how you got the build sheet up for your car? Also have a 16 Landmark.
Thanks.

Google JLR TOPIx, create an account (doesn’t cost anything), enter your VIN and you’ll get back what config it left the factory with.
