So do you go for a car thats safe for you and your occupants or safe for cyclists & pedestrians?
Only an idiot would choose the latter over the former...

er...well I actually find having a passenger in the passenger seat tends to block side vision a lot more than an A pillar, so by this logic no car at all should have a passenger seat in the front.....suck on that greenpi$$.
I'd agree with that - especially when you've got a short wife who insists on her seat all the way forwards....

'The report, produced for the Department for Transport by the Transport Research Laboratory, was completed in March but has yet to be published'
I wonder why, would that be a little to incovenient for the anti 4x4 government message & the large car tax rises the public are being softened up for...... 2007 TDV6 HSE 'Silver Lady'. With 'free' privacy glass LOL.
Taking the greenpi$$ is: Green taxing your citizens more & using some of the money to buy nukes.

We at least have an ally in the camp, Mr Spen King no less Designer of the original Range Rover. Notice that RR Classics have lovely slim A pillars. Don't roll one though

NEWS JUST IN!!
Blinking whilst driving is to be outlawed. It has been proven that if you blink whilst driving you have a momentary 100% blind spot.
Next on tonights news, stating the obvious - does it sell more papers? Being anti 4x4 - is it trendy, or is there some other group of people we can be jealous of? Maybe we should hate people with houses?
