Hi,
I have functional indicators but suddenly no audible "click". The same if you leave the key in the ignition and open the door - again, no audible warning. Everything else is fine - reverse sensor still talks to me...
Any suggestions would be most welcome.
Also, have low coolant level warning although everything ok - is there an easy way to resolve this?
Thanks...

Sounds like a great upgrade - door open "bong" drives me nuts,
I know the key is in the ignition as generally I can't lock the car as I walk away or open the front door of my house without the same keys "To finish first, one first has to finish ...."

Quote:The audible warnings are initiated by a CAN bus message from the requesting subsystem control module or by the instrument cluster software.
Sounds like a control module issue TBH
The coolant warning issue is likely to be a faulty sensor in the bottle 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Thanks,
Does this mean a garage bill... or something I can tackle myself?

They don't appear to be critical issues at the mo...if you want to ignore them then it won't cost you anything ...otherwise you will need to get it looked at.
But seriously ...if you don't want to get it sorted in the near future ...keep a close eye on the dash for other visual warnings and messages which of course might mean something more serious 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

My wife just reminded me that we also have an intermittent issue with the fuel filler cap - sometimes just doesn't open. I guess this means either the engine fuse box or BeCM ?

Sounds like a seperate issue ...I take it that the vehicle is always unlocked when you are trying to open the flap ?
If yes, then I also had an issue on my first D3 where the flap didn't open ...in that case I used the emergency procedure of pulling the actuating cable rod detailed at the bottom of the following ...and it worked fine thereafter. If it doesn't then it could be an actuator fault ...though unusual if it's intermittent.
Quote:The fuel filler door lock actuator extends and retracts a wire reinforced plastic pin to lock and unlock the fuel filler door. The actuator is installed on a bracket located behind the trim in the right rear quarter of the vehicle.
The pin is incorporated onto the end of the cable installed between the actuator and the fuel filler door assembly. In the locked position, the pin engages with a spigot on the door mounting arm.
The CJB (central junction box) changes the direction of drive of the actuator by changing the polarity of the power and ground connections.
In an emergency, the fuel filler door can be unlocked by manually retracting the actuating rod on the actuator. The actuating rod can be reached through the access cover in the rear quarter trim 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

It is always open, and is just an intermittent problem - thanks for the advice I'll go and give it a pull tomorrow and then monitor from there.
Now just have to decide how difficult it is to live without indicators ticking - it's actually more disorientating than you might think...

Simon
Would definitely recommend TFC (Iain) - he changed my coolant tank when he did the annual service.
Glad to see another member in Essex.

I had the same issue with the indicator click and warning bongs. I had to have the instrument cluster replaced as this is where they are generated from. The reverse sensor is generated from somewhere else apparently.
