No Brake Lights

Good Evening!

My friends 2013 Discovery 4 has a fault with the brake lights.
I'm not over familiar with the Disco4 and it's quirks.

The Brake light switch has been swapped for a brand new one and still the same.
Code reader found a few faults,
Suspension was locked and locked in Low Range and Off-Road mode.
These cleared and a road test they did not return.

Just no brake lights. No output at tow socket either.

Just not sure if there is something that we should be checking?

Just trying to help them out before he has to send it to a garage.

Any help appreciated, thank you. Thumbs Up

Hi!
Check fuse # 14 (5 Amps). Fuse box in the passenger compartment. Behind the glove compartment.

Thank you for your suggestion and help,

Yes we have checked the fuses passenger side.
Checked for power there and its present at fuse.
Switch also shows activating on Live Data using diagnostic tool.

Got us stumped at the moment, would be nice to sort it as it's important for him for medical appointments etc.

Can't see any faults with the wiring, damage etc.

Looks like he might have to get an auto electrician out.

There are two wires on the connector (brake light switch) (red and green/orange). With the ignition on, they should have 12 Volts on them. If some of them do not have 12 Volts, then do not look for the problem. Just connect them together. There is a problem at the exit from the BCM.
