No dialling tone on Landrover phone |
|
Thank you for allowing me to join your forum.
I have a problem with my bluetooth equipment in my 2007 Disco 3. I have got my phone to connect to the bluetooth OK and have all my contacts connected via turning the knob on the radio to search. The problem I have is that I cannot call out or receive phone calls......there is no dial tone either. All that happens is that my phone can see who is calling but I cannot hear them and they cannot hear me......any ideas?
kind regards Me

Do you have the phone switches on the steering wheel to the side of the airbag?

Is the sound turned right down? while making a call turn the volume up, this will turn the voloume of your call up.

You'll need to follow wires and generally chase the problem through until you find the issue.
Have you tried putting a phone in a cradle into the centre cubby box to see if you can get the hard wired set up running?
I had totally the opposite problem when I first bought my D3, hard wired I couldn't hear a thing but the caller could hear me, Bluetooth worked perfectly.
Here's my very first post on the forum which explains my problem:

Good luck, I never got to the bottom of it. Mods:
