Hi Guys'
One of my LR3's will not select sport or manual (tiptronic) I changed the pcb unit at the gearstick but nothing any ideas? also can I buy a scanner to check engine lights and fault codes relativley cheap?
the fuel out here is not great and I notice there is no in line fuel filter, again any ideas?

There is a fuel filter, search button will be friendly if you type in +location +fuel +filter

Sorry, I live in the Uk but work in West Africa we run a few LR3s and I checked with Stratsones when I was at home last and they do not list a fuel filter for the 2006 -2007 petrol V8?
I am a bit slow what's FCR?

Ah Petrol........ Sorry, dont know, but I would have though that there would be one. ISTR there is at least one in the fuel tank, but maybe not in line after that....?

same as me digger bit slow with these short abbreviations still some i,m scratching my head with but will get there in the end lol!!!!

AH HA, no not even one in the tank maybe a sealed unit I will get one of the boys to wip it out and see

AFAIK there is no changeable fuel filter on a V8. At least I didn't find it yet.
I have one but that on the front differential airhose. Roel
