Sorry to have to inform you but it won't as yet until LR do a software update for the system (Don't hold youre breath). I understand that Nokia's (who supply LR) own car kits also didn't function properly with the 6230i, again due to software issues.
I ended up buying a s/h 6230 which works fine/well. You can still get new 6230 from www.foneplanet.com if you want.

I got a quote from LR to fit a phone kit as my radio said no phone fitted, estimated cost £1000!!!! they advised maybe cheaper if the loom if allready fitted but we don't know if it is on your car????
Decided to get an after market one fitted for £200 with the cradle etc. with the telemute lead fitted sound comes out of the car speakers and interupts the radio/CD etc. I use a 6230

Have a look on RRSport.co.uk where I think this has been debated in a little more depth. We like our toys over there!  Loving the power of the TDV8!
