Nokia 6300 Bury handsfree

I got a handsfree kit preinstalled with my Disco. Bit bulky but did the trick until.......

We were given Nokia 6300 phones in work so as Nokia dont do the cradle for the 6300, I sourced one from Bury - think they are a German crowd. Anyway the phone has gone mad now and some weeks it works in the cradle and some times it doesnt Evil or Very Mad Drivin me mad.

There is a little headset icon meant to come up when its pushed home but doesnt always work!

Anyone else have this problem? Anyone else have a different cradle manufacturer?

Nokia wont do anything 'cos them pesky Bury cradles are at fault .... apparently

A friend has the same phone & cradle in her car and it works well.

It is not confusing itself by trying to connect wired & bluetooth together is it? If this is a possibility turn the bluetooth off and see what happens.

I had an issue with a phone cradle being unreliable and eventually the Phone module was changed which seemed to help.

Sorry Alex, did you change the phone for another 6300? or change model altogether? Cradle was €100 so dont fancy having to change phone Big Cry

Yep I changed it from another cradle for another phone. My friend had the same set up for his 6300 and mine wont work in his either. His 6300 only works sometimes too!

BUT, this morning it worked for me but like all good alcoholics, I'm taking it day by day Rolling Eyes
