Have you got blades recently DSL? They changed them around 3 months ago. Got the new type 2 months ago and so far they're staying fairly OK.IE - 05 D3 TDV6 HSE - Zambezi Silver

I bought 6 new blades from Nick at Yeovil in Feb (part no DKC 500150 in a plastic "bag" rather than the previous blister type pac). Any idea of the new part number??

RainX then some more RainX
Each coat lasts about a month and means you don't need wipers over 40mph!
(The airflow just blows the water away)
They do seem worse though - after the RainX has worn off !!!2005 D3 HSE 2011 D4 Landmark 2016 D4 HSE Lux

Sound the same - my last lot were in a bag, whereas any I'd got before them had been in a pack. The new ones aren't perfect (wipers in a loan Freelander I had before were far quieter!), but they're a lot better than my old ones were.
The guys on the RRS forum were discussing some kind of wipers from the company that makes RainX but they're only available in the US. Was considering picking up a pair next month.IE - 05 D3 TDV6 HSE - Zambezi Silver

That's about as far as I'd got. My folks are in Florida at the moment, might see if they can bring a set or two back.

Arm your arms OK ?
I've never suffered from the judders (from my wipers) since 2004 when I had her.

As far as I know, have not tried the twisting the arm business yet, ISTR that that only helps temporarily. That might be the next step.

Sil Blades
Anyone on a trip to the US should check out ExpeditionExchange.com see following link for Silblades
This is a great "Goody" site and they will ship to your hotel over there, or to a UK address.
I had Sil blades on my Defender, they far outlasted the standard ones, but they do eventually need replacing!Discovery 3 XS Auto, Stornaway, Active rear diff.

DS3 TDV6 HSE- Silver with Alpaca (new one) Gone
D4 HSE Lux - Montalcino Red Gone
Porsche Cayenne V8 Diesel S
Just replaced mine, no issues with the first set for 45k, no issues with the second set so far, they spent about 5 mins 'bedding in' and are silent now.
Noisy ones can normally be cured with a twist of the wiper armThe End
