Engine starts fine and runs really smooth. I do very few miles in the D3 now (190,000 miles), so performance and running is not a reason to change the injectors but the high pressure getting into the low pressure pipe could be.
I have bought enough fuel pipe clips to strengthen all the joins in the leak off pipe. I will also replace the corrugated harness sheath that is brittle whilst messing about around the injectors.
I will keep to short journeys initially and build up to a longer run. Last night the pipe and clip help despite some hard and fast runs and a very hot engine. And, nothing else popped off!!!! 2005, TDV6 S, Auto, 190k miles, owned from new, V8 Brake Upgrade, Nancom Evo, RLD protector, BAS EGR blanking & Remap, separate ATF cooler, changing all the fluids ahead of time.

All joints to leak off pipe now have fuel line clips attached. Now running D3 on steadily increasingly longer journeys to test fully. So far so good. Live injector readings all within acceptable range and no fuel or engine related fault codes. Time will tell..... 2005, TDV6 S, Auto, 190k miles, owned from new, V8 Brake Upgrade, Nancom Evo, RLD protector, BAS EGR blanking & Remap, separate ATF cooler, changing all the fluids ahead of time.

Fingers crossed for you, I’d get a fire extinguisher as fuel on a hot manifold isn’t good Metal auto sump & fluid change (3 hrs)

Almost a month later and all good. Hope I am not tempting fate...... 2005, TDV6 S, Auto, 190k miles, owned from new, V8 Brake Upgrade, Nancom Evo, RLD protector, BAS EGR blanking & Remap, separate ATF cooler, changing all the fluids ahead of time.
