Standard road tyres but only 500 miles on them. I suppose if you haven’t got any grip no matter what tyres you have you’re not going anywhere. Laughing

Was it bellied out or just no traction?

Extended mode should have helped if it was beached.

Yep, when there's no traction there's no traction. No matter what setting you're in or height you're at. Once wasn't sat in mud with all 4 wheels turning happily, the car announced that it was going too fast for off-road height and would be lowering. As far as she was concerned I was merrily stonking along when in reality I was moving at about 2mph. Whistle

ha ha managed to get though some good drifts in mine, but you need momentum and tyres mines on original scorpios which are a decent open tread and all quite new which im sure helps alot.

Yup, and when that fails, chains. Cheap set of chains, won't last long for continuous use but fine to get out of bother, are less than £100 and will save blushes.

I stuck mine deep just to see how far it would go, got as deep as my waist after getting stuck and having to climb out of the window, grabbers and super extended mode won't help,
