OEM Aqua Carrier / Canoe Carrier
So finally got round to fitting the Aqua carrier today, after having it since last Spring and unintentionally breaking my foot at the same time
Anyway, not too difficult to fix, in fact if I can do it, so can you.
This is what's in the box
The Kit will fit any rack thats square, or the crossbars from LR. But if you have an Expo rack like mine then the rear crossbar which goes across the top hinders the whole carrying ability . The Canoe will fit no problems on its side though, and all I have to do it make the adjustable "V's" more accute.
As you can see by the last picture the problem with the rear crossbar, it still all works though. One question, can a single crossbar be obtained for the front. There are holes in the frame of the Expo with screw plugs in them, so guessing it is available.
I will get a pic sorted with the canoe fitted tomorrow, full of bugs n snails as it was stored under a tarp on the floor. So now it resembles a canoe shaped pond, filled it up with water to drown the bugs and check for leaks.

There are crossbars available, I think all G4's had them. See my Gallery.
If you can buy them loose, I don't know.Roel
