If you look at the pictures of the Mahle filter, it seems to also come with a round gasket now.
Looks like will have to go with OEM LR to be sure. Just didn’t really want to go to LR stealer to get one (or two)!!

Did Citroen use the same filter?
I have a Citroen dealer in the next village to me. If they have the same filter, I could get it from them!!

Looking at all the pictures online, the gasket for the 3L TDV6 seems to be round... the gasket for the 2.7L TDV6 seems to be square.
I even saw original LR filters that have the round gasket.
Have they quietly changed something?

For info, I received the MAHLE filter this morning, and it also has a round gasket.
Don't know if this has changed, but this makes 3 different filters from 3 different manufacturers that all now have the round gasket.

my d3 genuine filters have (2.7) square seal my d4 genuine filters have round (3.0) seals look at the plastic covers where the seal sits there not the same please excuse any grammer/punctuation mistakes,i'm thick,thankyou

OK... thanks for the confirmation... I was only going on what I was told earlier by flatlander. I have only had 2.7L tdv6 engines up until the D5.
