Oil specs for front and rear diffs and transfer box

Hi,

I've tried searching to no avail.

Can anyone tell me the specs and quantities of oil for front and rear diffs please and transfer box?

I downloaded the manual but I can find the specs listed.

Sorry to be a pain. Could do with it being a sticky with all the service info/fluids as I bet its been asked at some point.

Cheers

Jim

Brill.

Thanks very much mate. I scoured the workshop manual but must have skipped past it.

Just what I was after.

Thumbs Up

Advise needed

Good evening. Can someone help me to figure out if rear differential Electronic locking or Non-locking?
I have no dealer center in my place.
Can provide VIN if necessary.

Thanks in advance!

To see if your rear diff has an electronic lock you'll need to get under the car and look for a solenoid mounted on the diff housing.
It's uncommon to have an electronic diff from what I've read.

Also regarding diff oils, if you tow regular you can use a heavier fluid. For example: 75W-140. This is used by blokes/girls that 'work' their Disco's in a bid to prevent wear, but may cause mpg to drop slightly.
