Do a search for videos of the change of ATF on ZF auto boxes. You probably know but not as simple as drain and fill. Need engine running and fluid at right temperature when filling to correct level. . There are some threads on here as well.

Yep I use Mannol AG60 or Febi or ZF Lifeguard. The AG60 direct from Germany is incredibly cheap.

The German place on eBay or direct on their website for the AG60. If you fancy the Febi then Steve at Advanced Factors is the best bet.

The correct fluid is ZF LifeGuard 6 / Shell M-1375.4 but there is a few other brands that are cheaper.

Is the Mannol a good oil? or is ZF superior? (I don't know Febi brand as oil)

ZF is the manufactures oil and expensive.

Not sure about that MILLERS stuff. It seams compatible with too many gearboxes for my liking

Mannol should be the same spec. It says it conforms to all requirements on the bottle, so unless it's a counterfeit product, should be good.

Mannol is a reputable brand, and this oil has been on eBay for a while now, so I would hope that if it were fake, it would have been found out by now.

For the low mileage I now do in my D3 and because I only do drain and refill and don't want to mix, I have decided to stick with ZF brand.

And for the amount of oil you need for a sump drain and refill (2 litres?) it probably doesn't work out a lot more money.

More like 5 litres, so quite a difference in price. Of course, ZF do not blend oils and just provide a sticker on the bottle.
