Does any one know how to remove the door trim?

I have located a rattle in the passenger door between the pocket at the bottom and the door Evil or Very Mad. The rattle arises on cold starts and on cetain bumpy rounds (we have loads of those in Surrey).

It will be a faf to put it into the dealer for such a minor niggle, does any one know how to take the door card off so I can have a peak'Question'.

The window position makes no difference to the sound.

I can silence the rattle with slight upward pressure on the base of the trim at the bottom of the door about 2/3 way along from the hinge. I might try wedging some foam strips in the bottom of the door card to see of that helps.

Actually I should win a prize for burk of the month, on trying to take the door pocket off, I found a screw driver nestling in the bottom. Screw driver removed, rattle gone Mr. Green - at least things will be quieter in the car now - I should never have doubed LR build quality - its been great for my first two months of my ownership.

I am sure some dealers always charge for finding their screwdrivers - Laughing

To be fair Guava my local Authorised repairier (they export new only) did a great job fitting side steps. They replaced a light bulb that had blown - no labour charge for that Shocked

I will see if I feel the same after they service the car in August.

A friend was charged £50 for a headlight bulb replacement on his Audi A2 Rolling with laughter - I know from experience on our A2 that it takes 5 minutes - undo two screws and the headlight drops out.
