One month on - Have I made a mistake ?
Now getting on for one month and nearly 2000 miles on my new car and I'm not sure if I've done the right thing.
Two things niggling me....
1- The colour, Stornoway. I keep looking at it and can't help thinking should have got another Zermatt.
2- The autobox. Whilst it is a joy too drive I find all to often it's in the wrong gear when trying to make 'progress' on twisty backroads. I find myself selecting sport and using the command shift...defeats the purpose of having an autobox. I've driven a couple of manual D3's in the past couple of weeks and really enjoyed them, more than mine.
Hopefully my trip to Keilder this weekend will see me bond more with the car.
Still miss my old manual Zermatt 'S' The best car i've ever had

Have you had it remapped as that seems to sort a lot of the hunting for gear issues on an Auto when trying to make progress ?I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

Don't be silly... its a great colour choice
Agree about the 'box though. Auto handy around town but boring on the twisty bits. It's nice to actually 'drive' the D3 and take control with hands and feet
Can't comment on the colour (though Stornoway was my preferred choice until the family outvoted me...) - but I think the auto is much better than the manual box.
And anyway - you have a D3. How can you be regretting that... The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

I'm sure it'll grow on me....maybe.
Mrs JKP had a go at me when driving home tonight I commented on how dark the tints were...maybe too dark...as it's harder to see whats behind me in the rear view. She mentioned that all I've done is complain about the car for the last couple of days
Fitting the MTR's and Mantec tomorrow in prep for the weekend. Maybe with it's more aggresive footprint it'll look a bit better.

Don't see anything wrong with the colour Agree about the auto, that's why I stuck with the manual.
