Are the one touch front windows supposed to be so temperamental or are mine screwed, is there a knack? 9 times out of 10 I can't get them to go down or up in one.....not a big issue just bloody annoying, lolErrr, ummm, maybe...oh bo**ocks, just do it !

I initially had the same problem, but realized I was doing it wrong. My old car you had to hold the switch up for a couple of seconds, but with the Disco you have to just give it a quick flick up or down. Hope this helps.

as llubnrut says, a quick flick does the job. If you hold the switch a moment longer it doesn't operate
doe anyone knowif the one touch can be retofitted to the other windows for the driver side control? Mine only has one touch for the driver window and Ive noticed on the hse has all of them one touch.Sceen name use to be "wantsanlr3"

My 2006 HSE only has driver's window one-touch function. Other windows are not one-touch

I could of sworn an 07 or 08 hse I looked at on a lot the drivers side control hadd one touch on all of the windows. Maybe I was mistaken and it was just the front two. But still can it be retofitted to have both fronts as one touch?Sceen name use to be "wantsanlr3"

Anyone know how easy it is to replace the drivers door electric window switch in a Disco 3?
Have new unit as current switches are broke or dont work.
Dont really want to rip the door cover off

I've asked this question about retrofitting all windows to 1 touch before. I've driven an '08 that had all 4 windows on 1 touch. The answer that I have received is that it cannot be retrofitted because the mechanism for 1 touch isn't in the switch itself but rather the ecu. I haven't seen anyone attempt to retrofit but that's what I've heard. Maybe the software could be updated and a new window switch installed to activate.16 D4 Landmark

To get the one touch switch to work. If push/pull the drivers switch slowly you will come to some resistance ie stops, but if you push/pull it a little harder, it goes further and activates the one touch part. Hope you understand that
