Orange waning indictor

Hi, orange indictor light came on today with the message "Check Brake Pads" obviously I will, but it will be a couple of days before I can get into the dealers. My questions is I have a 200 mile round trip tomorrow, would you risk it if you were me Thumbs Up

If it's mainly motorway or fast A roads with no trailer attached then IMHO yes.

I would not as by the time the sensor has kicked in on the oneside it is not unusual that the opposite side is already worn down badly and possibly metal on metal on the disc Shocked

Lots of us have experienced this all too late resulting in new discs and pads.

Do not forget that LR only fit sensors on one wheel at the front and back on opposing sides - assumption is that all 4 wear evenly,if only...........

OR

It could be a sensor playing up and all is ok - visual check of pad thickness on all 4 wheels recommended me thinks Rolling Eyes
