I should add, that my D3, when brand new, arrived with what looked like a thumbprint in the paint on the upper tailgate. I made the mistake of allowing a LR approved paint shop to 'rectify' it. As should have been predicted.......they made it worse ! It came back with runs in the clear coat. Like you, I decided to 'live with it'. They are a bunch of incompetents.....Since the Warranty expired, my vehicle has not been anywhere near a LR dealership, (the same can be said for the idiots that work on them mechanically / electrically too). So just to warn you adeal3, you could end up with an almighty **ck up of a repair  D3 owned from new, P017 brake recall, BAS FBHIC, new FBH, LR013487 oil pump, new water pump. RRS front lower suspension arms. New suspension compressor/ relay. New Denso alternator. CuNifer rear brake pipes. New GKN rear propshaft. New HPFP belt & tensioner. New A/C Condenser.NO WARRANTY for many many years.
