Parking Rant!
Anyone else get slightly hot under the collar with drivers who deliberately straddle 2 parking bays in a busy car park?
I saw one today at a popular shopping centre on the outskirts of York. Busy weekend with half term, hot weather and a Saturday and there it was...freshly polished and the owner obviously wanted to keep it that way so had parked it bang across 2 bays.
Shoppers were tutting and chuntering as they walked past.
The 2 worst things were;
1. It was a D3
2. It had a big DISCO3.CO.UK sticker across it's screen.
I could embarrass the tool by posting his reg here but, seriously, don't we have enough enemies out there at the moment withing giving people a, justifiable, reason to hate us more?
Rant over!

Hardly the crime of the century It would help if supermarkets and shopping centres actually provided bays that you can fit a motor in without some donkey coming along and denting your doors.21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

hi
sorry chelsea but i think the only people out there who "hate" the car are greenies and most of them are just sheep following the flock
the people i meet love the car,the looks, the size ect.they wish they could have one and are very pleased when we come to their aid when they have motoring probs.most other brand drivers tend to just pass by.the willingness to help is not only a d3 thing but i have seen other landy model drivers helping many times.
as for parking it seems most drivers struggle to park right, just take a look around any car park.
chill man!no need to be paranoid
dunc life is tooooo short.enjoy the moment.dont worry be happy

I always straddle the lines....stops from scratching me baby
I just park a good way from the exit All the Ar5eholes tend to park as close as they can to the door
Hotel in Perth has no spaces the other night and some bloke in a BMW 3 series had taken two spaces. I squeezed in the half a space, next to him with the other half of my car in the flower bed "To finish first, one first has to finish ...."

oooooooooooooooh COME ON, spill the beans...............
Name and congratulate them
I always straddle 2 spaces rather then have some scummer open their door into mine, I do park furthest from the doors if it's busy though. Supermarkets seem think spaces should only be wide if you've got ankle biters onboard The End

Now that annoys me, parent & child spaces! It was there choice to have sprogs, why should they be rewarded with D3 friendly parking spaces. When I have used one I have argued that I may have children, somewhere!
