Parking Sensor - Intermittent Fault

Hi After a little bit of advice

When I put my disco in reverse the parking sensors dont always come on, and the light on the dashboard stays off as well.
If i take it out if gear and put it back in reverse it sometimes then lights up and sounds as i reverse near anything.
When they are on - all sensors appear to be working front and back.

Any advice / guidance gratefully received

I've scanned the forum and found lots on parking sensors, bit more amount failure of the sensor itself

There is a tsb software bug resulting in this.

Try removing epb before selecting reverse. Or a different order to what you do now.

Cheers Pete

Taking the epb off first seems to work.

Is there a software upgrade that fixes the bug or is it just one of the fun features of owning a Discovery?

Cheers

Jason

I would try and live with it. Replacing the parking module in the rear may sort it. It is also likely to result in the front park sensors being disabled, for times when you drive straight into a parking place.
(button will enable them).

So I would try and live with it
