Parrot MK6100 audio streaming over Bluetooth

Just been on the phone to vstore tech support and they have told me that their supplied cabling kits for D3 with HK ICE don't fully support streaming over bluetooth. Apparently audio will only be presented on the front speakers. These are the adapter leads which vstore suggest.

PARR-030-2361
Parrot MK6100 MusicKit Bluetooth H/free with Audio Streaming £102.12 £102.12

INKA-027-4480
Land Rover Discovery 2005> all m £25.99 £25.99
INKA-024-9934
Parrot to Nokia 7W Adaptor (CK3200, CK3400,MK6000,MK6100) £7.99 £7.99

I'm sure I read somewhere on this forum that 4 speaker stereo bluetooth streaming has been achieved but I can't seem to fint it again.

Can anyone shed any light...?

Thanks,

Andy

That will be me Laughing Laughing Laughing , I can play music via the ck3200 out of all the speakers, and calls through one speaker theye satnav uses.....

The only fault is the ck3200 will not let you jump tracks from the steering wheel, but volume adjust is ok. To be honest to acheive this you need to know electrics well, not saying you dont as you may well be ok.

Just make sure it does'nt go through the amp or kiss bye bye to the parrot

Are you talking about with a cable? iphone doesn't support bluetooth audio, you need a dongle.

I'm talking about being able to play stereo audio over bluetooth from your mobile phone or any other suitable A2DP capable device, such as your laptop, pda, iPod with BT adaptor etc...

As far as I'm aware the Parrot CK3200/3200 LS doesn't support that, just headset or handsfree audio profiles.

But that's nothing to do with the Parrot kit. I can do that through the aux connector fitted as standard to the D3.

Right, got to the bottom of that one then! Very Happy

So, the original question still stands. Does anyone have BT audio streaming working on the D3 through any Parrot kit, through all speakers with good quality? If so, could they share the details please Question

Cheers,

Andy

Although the bluetooth facility on the iphone can stream messages and wallpapers, pictures and caller id pics to the parrot ck3200, I am sure you could stream music if we tinker about more Idea

Watch this space Thumbs Up

I have just ordered the mki9100 which streams music, I will report back to see how the music over BT works.
